AUSTIN, Texas - February 26, 2026- Bumble Inc. (NASDAQ: BMBL) today announced two new features designed to help our community move from matching to meaningful connection with greater confidence and clarity.
The first, AI-suggested Profile Guidance, is a comprehensive profile enhancement rolling out globally. It delivers personalized, actionable feedback on your bio and prompts as you build your profile, guiding members step by step to help truly reflect who they are.
The impact of having a strong Bumble profile is clear: bios that are conversational, humorous, or spark curiosity outperform generic ones. The data backs it up, with nearly 60% of members with strong bios seeing higher engagement in mutual conversations. Additionally, women with two to three prompts received one-third more responses to their messages compared to those with none. When women are supported in expressing who they are, better conversations follow.
Members in the U.S. can utilize the AI Photo Feedback tool, which provides tailored suggestions in real-time to help you choose the best photos and show up as your most authentic self from the start. Think fewer hidden-behind-sunglasses shots and more dynamic variety, like one outdoors in your element and another laughing with friends.
Suggest a Date, a new feature designed to make expressing date intent effortless, is currently being tested in Canada. Our community has shared that when conversations stall, people want clearer support to take the next step toward meeting. Suggest a Date cuts through the guesswork to remove that friction, giving our community a simple way to signal they’re ready to connect offline.
Vivek Sagi, Bumble’s Chief Product and Technology Officer, shares: “We are focused on building products that address member pain points. Profile Guidance empowers people to show up more authentically and completely, helping them start connections from a stronger foundation. With Suggest a Date, we’re creating a clear expression of intent and giving members a way to bypass the traditional back-and-forth and move toward meeting in real life. When we reduce friction at the moments that matter most, we help people connect with clarity and confidence, and increase the likelihood of meaningful relationships forming offline.”
Together, these new features reflect Bumble’s continued focus on supporting members to date confidently, present themselves authentically and communicate their intentions clearly to build meaningful, quality relationships which can move from online to offline with ease.
