David Ard serves as Bumble Inc's Chief People Officer, joining the company in February 2024. In his role, Mr. Ard is responsible for developing and executing Bumble's people strategies, fostering a positive workplace culture, overseeing talent acquisition and development, and ensuring the well-being and engagement of Bumble Inc. employees. With over two decades of experience leading HR teams in the technology, health and wellness, and apparel industries, Mr. Ard has extensive experience in people leadership and is passionate about the intersection of talent, culture and high performance. Before joining Bumble Inc., Mr. Ard served as Senior Vice President of Employee Success at Salesforce, where he directed the people strategy and teams at Slack. Prior to working at Salesforce and Slack, Mr. Ard served as the Chief People Officer at Equinox, leading the people strategy for the luxury fitness and hotel brand. Mr. Ard began his career at the Gap Inc. companies, holding several different roles during his 15-year tenure, including the Global Head of People & Communications for the Gap and Old Navy brands. Mr. Ard earned his B.A. in Organizational Communication from the University of Central Florida.
